If you assume the cost of doing business is…

… $600 a year for Realtor dues

… $400 a year for MLS dues

… $600 a year for Office Dues/E & O insurance

… $3000 a year for a website/IDX

… $3000 a year for gas (driving around all those clients)

… $1500 a year for tech, ie., tablet, laptop, etc.

… $3000 to market listings (that’s low)

And that’s the only expenses you have… that is about $9000.

Now the Gross Income is roughly $40,000.

Don’t forget taxes… Take 1/3 of that away and you are down to just over $28,000.

In my opinion that is NOT a Professional Level of Profit…

And yet…

And yet… I’m witnessing real estate agents/lenders/advisors zigging and zagging… chasing the newest tactic… joining the latest social network… chasing the shiny new object.

What is going to happen with your career… (with your happiness and sanity… ) if you keep wasting time and money?

If you do not have a solid foundation… you won’t be able to build your business upwards – or what I call “LEVEL UP.”

Worse yet, without a firm foundation… sooner or later your business will start to crumble and fall apart.

You might be like some agents and reach a plateau or hit a ceiling of 8-10 transactions a year… or 10-15 transactions a year… for some agents they can get 20-30 transactions a year… for some it might even be 50… but you get stuck and stalled at some point, some time, some where.

? I’m already in ClientPath. Should I apply for BASECAMP?

A. No. Do not apply for BASECAMP. If you need resources or training from BASECAMP, I’ll get that to you. Or just ask in the group or on a Momentum call.


? I’m not licensed yet. Should I sign up for BASECAMP right now?

A. Great question. Really glad you asked me that. I’d wait until you have your license and have put it with a broker. As soon as you’ve done all the “busy” work of getting your license, then apply for BASECAMP.


? I can’t really afford it right now. But once I have my next closing, I’d like to sign up. Do you have some free training I can do until then?

A. 1. If you can’t afford right now this probably isn’t the career for you at the moment. I’m willing to bet you are “wasting” your money on other expenses that would easily pay for BASECAMP.

2. You can always listen to the Daily Show Up and join the Successful Solo Agent group.


? Will I need spend money on ads to generate leads?

A. At some point, yes. But not required or even suggested in BASECAMP. BASECAMP is all about creating the foundation of your business. Running ads without a solid foundation is a fool’s errand.


? I've invested in so many courses and COACHES before that didn't work. How is BASECAMP any different?

I understand this feeling and concern as much as anyone.

? HOW DO I TALK MY SPOUSE/S/O INTO LETTING ME SIGN UP FOR This?

A. This is a really great question. And I want to give you an answer that goes beyond this program… because I can almost guarantee you’ve spent waaay more money on things without consulting your spouse.

So first, is this really about getting permission or support from your spouse? Or is this about your own insecurities.

Second, you should have a bigger conversation about your career, your goals, and how you’re going to invest into it moving forward. If you have to stop and ask permission, each and every time, and justify why, you’re never going to take ownership of your career.

Now don’t get my words twisted.

I’m not saying to not communicate with your spouse. I’m actually saying the opposite. Over communicate right now with them, instead of a death of thousand paper cuts during your career.

If your spouse doesn’t trust you to make an investment into your career, they might have a decent reason to feel that way. Have you started and stopped many things in the past? What’s different now? What’s different moving forward?

This is a big discussion and I encourage you to have that discussion with them, and yourself.


? How much time will I have to invest into this program each day and each week?

A. This is the foundation of your career… you’ll have to invest what you have to invest. It’s not about spending 2-3 hours a week learning. It’s about the taking action. It’s the process.

I do know that time management is a struggle for most of us. Especially if you’re newly self-employed, that’s why Module 3 is all about productivity and time management.


? Do I get access to all the modules all at once?

A. Great question. No.

Remember what I’ve been saying about not just doing the right things, but doing the right things in the right order?

You’ll get access to only one module at a time. The next one isn’t available until you complete the module. And at certain times, you’ll be able to UNLOCK additional BONUS material.

This is all designed and intentional.


? I’m really struggling/ or / I’m brand new- Is there a better place for me to start?

A. BASECAMP is the place to start. In fact, I created this program to help our new agents joining on our team. I made it to help our agents succeed, so why not you?


? HOW MUCH 1 to 1 help will I get from Darin?

A. As much as I wish I could work with everyone 1 to 1, there’s just not enough hours in the day.

But the reality is you don’t need 1 to 1 help from me as this stage. You have access to the info you need and clear steps on what to take action on now and how.

At the foundational stage, it’s about taking action now, not worrying about what’s next. Where I see most people get stuck in launch or relaunch mode is failure to take simple action. They dwell on what if’s, or perfectionism, or procrastination.


? ARE THERE ANY ACCOUNTABILITY CALLS?

A. Great question.

No. And I cover this in some great detail in MODULE 4: Winning The Game. You’ll learn a much more powerful method than accountability in that module.


? WHAT if I get stuck and I just don’t know what to do next?

A. I 100% get that feeling. And look, you could stay where you’re at questioning what do you do if you get to the bridge and it’s not there? I don’t think it’s helpful to worry about creating solutions for problems don’t exist yet.

Or you could think I just need expensive 1 to 1 coaching. But if you can’t afford that now, how are you ever going to be able to?

Or, instead of worrying about getting stuck, you could focus on following the systems and steps inside the program. Keep it simple. Go in order. Follow the sequence.
