Are Your Lights On? - Productivity Nugget #116

"Every man's life lies within the present; for the past is spent and done with, and the future is uncertain." - Marcus Aurelius

Yesterday I got a phone call from one of my real estate coaching clients asking about a real estate office. He was wondering if I knew if that real estate office was still open or not. He drives by and never sees the lights on.

In this real estate coaching video I talk about the importance of having your lights on.

Does It Look Like You Are In Business

Perception is a powerful thing.

First impressions do matter.

In the real estate coaching video I talk about being in business is very different than looking like you are in business. If you don't look like you are business, if you don't act like you are in business...why do you think a potential homebuyer or seller will contact you?

I see real estate agents that still have the $8,000 tax credit info on their website. That's a form of not having your lights on. An example of having your lights on is like Jay Thompson, Phoenix Real Estate Guy, writing a blog post, Home Buyer Tax Credit: So long, and thanks for all the fish, keeping his past, current and potential clients updated.

How are YOU letting people know you are in business?

In the video I share some ways you might be sabotaging your business by "not turning your lights on". Check out the real estate coaching video and think about how you are letting people know you are still selling real estate and ready to rock.
