Embrace Your Fear Like Bruce Wayne
(Just a heads up... #The Dark Knight Rises came out on HBO this weekend... prepare yourself for a bunch of #Batman references this week) Have you seen The Dark Knight Rises yet?
It brings an end to the trilogy of The Batman reboot.
We had to wash the taste out of our mouth of Jim Carey in tights, Arnold Schwarzenegger shooting ice and the Batman costume with nipples.
One of my favorite images from The Dark Knight trilogy is how #Bruce Wayne embraced his #biggest fear.
Lil' boy, Bruce Wayne fell into a cave where bats "attacked" him.
Bruce lived with this #fear of bats his entire life until he embraced the fear and turned the bat into a symbol of fear for others.
What fear do you need to #embrace?
Did you have a #bad experience in the past with a type of client, or technology, or #marketing strategy? And now your fear won't allow you to take action again.
Do you have a #fear of failure? (Or more likely a #fear of success)
Do you have a fear of public speaking?
Calling expireds?
Doing video?
Door knocking before an open house?
If you are a fan of The Dark Knight trilogy you'll remember what Bruce Wayne's dad said to him about the bats.
The bats attacked Bruce because they were afraid of him. Don't forget that...
Whatever you are afraid of is probably just as afraid of you.
So embrace your fear and attack it head on!
I'd love to work with you on attacking that fear. I'll be like your Alfred. or maybe Robin, or maybe Commissioner Gordon... and you'll be TheBatman.
