If You Ain't First, You're Last

The famous quote from Ricky Bobby.

"If you ain't first, you're last."

I guess real estate is like Nascar in that way.

If you go on a listing presentation, you either get the listing and the potential commission check or you don't. There is no second place.

It's basically the same idea I shared from "The Highlander", there can be only one.

If you meet a buyer and the next week they meet another Realtor at an open house and they write an offer with them, you get nothing.

If you ain't first, you're last.

That is the reality of this industry.

There isn't a second place or consolation prize. That is why optimization, not just for search engines is essential. Take your business up a notch. Move it to the next level. Shift in to the next gear.

Do what ever you have to do to start to dominate your market, because if you ain't first, you're last.
