Real Estate Lead Generation Problems Right Now?

How are you supposed to get real estate leads, buyer and appointments right now?

You can't go knock on doors.

You can't hold an open house. 

Let me give you a different perspective and maybe we need to look on the bright side of why this is a good thing.

I talk about this on my Daily Show Up podcasts, the difference between compound movements and isolation movements.

This is a way you can look at how you were doing real estate lead generation vs an opportunity to look at doing real estate lead generation now.

It’s not just a new way but maybe a BETTER WAY... a more leveraged way.

See the way that you were doing real estate marketing, if you're relying on door knocking and open houses, was these very one-off conversations — like isolation movements.

You're just doing bicep curls.

But if you want a bigger impact on the time, energy and resources, when lifting weights you want to do compound movements. 

What does that look like in the real estate lead generation?

For starters, we want to use some form of content marketing. And it doesn't have to be video because I know a lot of people freak out about doing a video or being on camera. 

Doing things like door knocking, open houses and cold calls is the way that I started doing business in  1997.

And if you haven't evolved your strategy and generating for real estate leads beyond this, then you're doing business like you're in the 1990s.

I know you probably don't want to hear this…

But doing business that way - “one-offs” - was probably never the best way for you to generate real estate leads.

Some real estate agents in the industry do it this way because that’s how it was taught to them. I don't know why. It’s 2020.

But you now have a new opportunity!

Look for an opportunity to take your real estate marketing to the next level instead of it being this hustle, find and grind, trying to just survive through brute force one-to-one conversations.

You can leverage and scale this.

You can start off by having conversations that are one-to-many.

Having leveraged conversations by using the latest digital marketing, technology, apps and content marketing is one of the best places to start.

I'm not saying you have to use video.

I know real estate video makes a lot of people feel uncomfortable.

But you need to use some form of leveraged content marketing.
