I wanted to put this video out today because it is a big Open House day.  I'm not sure this Productivity Nugget will be a popular view in the   industry but oh well. I don't care what everyone thinks. I only care what you think.

Should You Start A Real Estate Blog?

If you are not passionate about , if you don't love this industry,  don't worry  about or how to use Facebook to build a community and how to promote listings. Don't worry about how to market listings or short sales and REOs and BPOs  and  all that stuff.  If you don't care about real estate, ignore all that noise find what it is that you're truly passionate about.

At your open house, instead of just sitting there doing nothing because you hate ,  you hate sitting at an0ther open house, you're pissed because no buyers are coming through and you haven't had a  transaction in six months...spend the three hours researching the thing that you are most passionate about.

What Is Your Real Passion?

It doesn't matter if its  jumping horses, riding motorcycles, knitting, playing golf or gardening or fishing or hunting. Research your online. Look for communities online via Google. Use Search.Twitter.com to see who is talking about your passion.  Start trying to figure out a way to monetize the thing your most passionate about.

If you haven't already, go get the book Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk.  Get this book and look at from the mentality that you are done with real estate and you are going to do what you're most passionate about. Sure we can be seduced by the fact we can make a lot of money selling real estate. I think that's one thing that Gary Keller's book the Millionaire Real Estate Agent does.

It's easy to become seduced by that idea. "Real estate is easy and I can make a lot of money."

Why not go make $50,000, $60,000, $70,000 doing what you're passionate about. will show you how to do that in IT! instead of selling real estate and you're not make any money any way. Real estate has you pissed off. You hate it and you don't want to do it any more.

Don't be seduced by how much money you could be making. Go get excited about what  you absolutely  should be doing.

Why is a real estate coach telling you to quit real estate?

I know I'm in real estate coaching so it might be counterproductive that I'm saying quite. But here's the truth, the mission here at ProductivityJunkies.com is to help you build the that you desire so you can live the life you deserve.

I'm not saying I only want to help you build the real estate business you desire. I want to help you build the business you desire. Period.

If that business is about gardening, or music, or  snowboarding, or puzzles or  whatever it is, there is  a way for you to monetize  your passion. Start using your downtime in real estate to go do what it is your truly passionate about instead of being pissed off you're not making $1 million a year.
