047 Being More Consistent | Daily Show Up
Being More Consistent - The key to progress is consistency. Can you show up more consistently and be more consistent in your activities?
What you do once in awhile does not harm you or benefit you. If you want to eat a piece of chocolate cake, cookies and ice cream, or have a slice of pizza every once in awhile, no big deal. If you're being consistent with eating healthy majority of the time and these small cheats won’t harm you.
The same is true if you only do marketing, lead nurturing, lead conversion once in awhile. It won’t benefit you if you're not consistently doing activities to grow your business.
Consistency is about sustainability. Setting goals and activities that you can take action on every day.
A great example I heard about is from a physical fitness trainer...
“You could join that gym that is $150 a month and 30 minutes away because it’s the hot trend and everyone is excited about it right now. You might go over every other day in the first month. But a bit less the second month because the drive takes up too much time. By the third month you are starting to wonder about this $150 a month. By the fourth month you quit. It wasn’t sustainable.”
