In Business, you need to have some sort of marketing and sales to promote your products and services and I believe that Content Marketing is one of the important strategies to use.

  1. For lead generation but also for audience building. You can generate leads off of it but an even better and even more powerful thing is building an audience.

  2. It's a huge leverage piece or a couple of different pieces of leverage being able to have reached your audience but then it's just continuous after that.

  3. You're able to crystallize your own thoughts, your own opinions or your own words with someone instead of regurgitating someone else's words in a script.

Any of those reasons is a great one. All three put together gives you a reason to go start your own content marketing strategy.

I think in business we always look for the shortest path and expect it to just be as simple as A to B.

I see solo agents or teams focused solely on lead generation and marketing on how to get leads.

Take a look and figure out maybe there are some steps. It might feel longer, it might feel a little bit out of the way in the beginning but eventually, you'll realize you actually got there faster.

It was a longer route, but it was a faster route.
